Wike Needs Urgent Rehabilitation – Dele Momodu Slams FCT Minister Over Clash With Naval Officer
Chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Dele Momodu, has criticised the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, following his recent altercation with a military officer during an enforcement operation in Abuja.
A viral video had shown Wike in a heated exchange with a soldier over access to a disputed property in the capital city. The confrontation reportedly occurred when the minister and officials of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) attempted to enter a piece of land allegedly linked to former Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Awwal Zubairu Gambo (rtd).
Reacting to the incident, Momodu attributed Wike’s behaviour to poor anger management and excessive alcohol consumption.
He wrote, “He whom the gods want to destroy, they first make mad. I had warned Minister Nyesom Wike repeatedly about his lack of anger management, but he never listened. Too much alcohol is affecting him physically, mentally, and spiritually—it’s the source of his Messianic complex.”
Momodu further alleged that Wike had caused significant damage in Abuja through land grabbing and reckless accumulation of wealth.
“When a man has found favour and mercy before God, he should not attempt to play God,” he added. “Wike has done enough harm in Abuja. His obsession with land and wealth has become more intoxicating than alcohol. He deserves the president’s pity, prayers, and urgent therapy in rehabilitation. What a tragic hero.”
