2Baba, Edo lawmaker Natasha Osawaru welcome first child together
Veteran Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Face or 2Baba, and Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru have welcomed their first child together, a baby boy.
Speculation around the birth surged earlier on Friday after Osawaru was spotted at a hospital, prompting talk that she was in labour.
Hours later, the politician confirmed the news in a brief post on her official Facebook page, announcing that the couple had been “blessed with a baby boy,” a message that immediately drew waves of congratulatory reactions across social media.
The new arrival adds to the evolving story of their high-profile union.
2Baba and Osawaru formalised their relationship earlier this year following the singer’s separation from Annie Idibia in January. Their relationship quickly gained public attention, from the Valentine’s Eve proposal to family visits and traditional rites that followed.
In July, the couple held a private traditional wedding ceremony in Abuja, attended by close relatives.
