Four House of Reps Members from Rivers Dump PDP for APC

Four members of the House of Representatives from Rivers State have defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The lawmakers are Manuchim Umezuruike, representing Port Harcourt I Federal Constituency; Boniface Emerengwa, representing Ikwerre/Emuoha Federal Constituency; Awake-Inombek Abiante, representing Andoni/Opobo Federal Constituency; and Boma Goodhead, representing Asari-Toru Federal Constituency.

The defecting lawmakers are believed to be loyal to Governor Siminalayi Fubara, who joined the APC last week.
