Speaking with journalists on Tuesday, Danja confirmed that his mother was released after paying N40 million ransom to the abductors.
The lawmaker said he was on his way to pick his mother from where she was dropped off by her abductors.
Danja said the suspected kidnappers dropped his mother at a local government in Jigawa state.
