A Shop Owner has been arrested on Tuesday,for illegally connecting 28 fabricated Fridges to public streetlight generator in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.
The Man, simply identified as Dabs by name, owns a cod product shop at New GRA Maiduguri.
He was arrested for taping on to Streetlight generator and connected 21 refrigerator, which are locally reconstructed to contain more product and fast cooking system.
With poor electricity supply and even complete cut off from the main grit for more than 10 months of the state capital by activities if insurgents before restoration, means cold products businesses have to rely on generating facilities.
But, Mr, Dabs has been enjoying free and illegal supply from the streetlight connection which are being powered by the state government through Heavy duty Generators.
Meanwhile, The Northeast Punchline understands that the Borno state Geographic Information Services BOGIS, have on Tuesday evening demolished parts of Dabs Shop after his arrested.
Speaking to newsmen, the executive secretary of BOGIS Engr Bababe recalled how Dabs failed to demolish the structure he illegally built six months after notice given by the agency.
