Naomi Campbell turned heads as she took to the catwalk at Paris Fashion Week on Monday evening, debuting the fall-winter womenswear collection from Nigerian designer Kenneth Ize.

The supermodel was on hand to help Ize make his Paris Fashion Week debut after previously modelling his womenswear range at Arise Fashion Week in Lagos.

Opting for a striking striped shirt dress with fringed detailing, Naomi, 49, ensured Ize’s new creations struck the right impressions as she emerged from the wings.

With a belted waist the outfit drew further attention to her slender physique as she ran the gauntlet of special guests at Monday’s event, reported Daily Mail.

Composed from a bold colour palette dominated by green, white, black and red stripes, the distinctive outfit appeared to reflect and draw inspiration from 29-year old Ize’s Nigerian heritage.

Naomi added to her look with a pair of red buckled shoes, while her sweeping black hair was conventionally styled with a simple centre-parting.

Kenneth Ize said of his designs: “The way our clothes are made is changing the narrative of how fashion can look. Fashion can make people travel to understand another’s culture. Fashion is a way of communicating from a distance.

“I want to have an impact… I have to constantly have a reason to make something. I know the problems that we have around us and trying to find a solution to those problems is why I’m designing”
