BREAKING: Senate Grants President Tinubu’s Request to Appoint 20 Special Advisers
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s request to the Nigerian Senate to appoint 20 Special Advisers has been approved.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that this decision comes after Tinubu’s letter of request was read during today’s plenary session, delivered by Senate President Ahmad Lawan.
Following the reading of the letter, Senator Ibrahim Gobir (APC – Sokoto East), the Senate Leader, took the initiative and proposed the consideration of Mr. President C-in-C’s request for the appointment of 20 Special Advisers.
Senator Philip Aduda, the Senate Minority Leader, promptly supported this motion.
Although the list of the 20 special advisers was not included in Tinubu’s request to the Senate, anticipation looms regarding the announcement of their identities soon.
