Cardi B tries to fight Nicki Minaj at the New York fashion show (video)
A new video making rounds online, showed the moment Cardi B allegedly tried to fight Nicki Minajat the New York Fashion Week show last night.
Though what caused the fight is still not known, however here are videos shared by The Shade Room below, we hope to more with better angles;
On the other hand, it should also be noted that HotNewHipHop reported that the trio of Nicki Minaj, Cardi B and Kendall Jenner were all in New York for the fashion event, and it was gathered that they will be keeping their distance from each other amid some recent drama.
Recall that Nicki Minaj had slammed Kylie Jennerfor promoting Travis Scott’s tour and although she later said she loves Kylie, Kendall’s got that strong sibling love that has no mercy.
Then there were allegations of Cardi B dissing Nicki Minaj on her song snippet at a VMA After Party where she rapped: “‘I know how to do it / Get a bag, don’t I / I know how to get a bitch mad.” This came after Cardi B got called out by the Chun Li crooner, in an interview with with Zane Lowe on his Beats 1 radio show.
“The only thing with Cardi that really really hurt my feelings was the first interview she did after ‘Motorsport’ came out,” Nicki said. “I remember when I first came in the game, if a female of that stature had done a feature with me on it, I would only be singing their praises and saying thank you. The first interview she did after ‘Motorsport’ came out, it just really hurt me. She looked so aggravated and angry and the only thing she said was, ‘Oh, I didn’t hear that. I didn’t hear that verse.’ I was like what?”
“It hurt my feelings to know that people would watch me be slaughtered and not one person will step in to say the truth,” she said. “They will run with the lie, they’ll allow people to run with the lie because it’s entertaining to make Nicki seem like the bad guy…up until this recent interview that she did, I had never seen her show me genuine love in an interview.
She continued: I could just imagine how many girls wish they could have been on a song with Nicki Minaj, and I’m not saying it in a cocky way, but yikes. It’s because of the Nicki hate parade that she felt the comfortability to address me in that manner.”
