Naira Marley Management:  One Nigeria’s brightest artistes, Naira Marley is languishing in the den of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for about a week now.

Naira Marley was arrested alongside another artiste, Zlatan Ibile following the former’s open support for cybercrime on social media.

Meanwhile, the EFCC in a statement by its spokesman, Tony Orilade after the release of Zlatan Ibile stated thus, “although Zlatan and the three others were bailed, they haven’t been fully discharged and acquainted. And for Naira Marley, he’ll have to remain in their custody as he’ll be charged to court soon”.

Orilade did clearly state that clearly Naira Marley had a laptop containing overwhelming evidence, proving his involvement to cybercrime, hence he cannot be granted the same administrative bail that was given to Zlatan, Tiamiu Abdulrahman Kayode, Adewunmi Adeyanju Moses and Abubakar Musa.

In statement released by Naira Marley’s management earlier today, Thursday, they however acknowledged that the singer truly had a laptop in his possession, but stated that it didn’t belong to him.

The statement claimed that the said laptop was borrowed by the singer for music production purpose. Meanwhile, according to the EFCC, Naira Marley will be charged to court soon.
