Watch: Burna Boy Performs “Ye” And “Anybody” On Trevor Noah’s Daily Show
Burna Boy made an appearance yesterday on The Daily Show hosted by Trevor Noah.
The Afrosion musician, whose real name is Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu appeared on the late-night show alongside Mark Sanford, former US representative and former Governor of South Carolina.
Burna Boy talked about his deal with Spotify to launch ‘Burna Bank’, his Afro-Fusion music, his album and how he met Trevor Noah on the show.
He also performed his hit songs ‘Anybody’ and ‘Ye’ from his fourth studio album, The African Giant.
The African Giant which was released in July features prominent music heavyweights including Beninese-American singer, songwriter, actress and activist, Angelique Kidjo; youngest son of reggae legend Bob Marley, Damian Marley; Future, M.anifest, Jeremih, Zlatan Ibile, Serani, Jorja Smith and YG.

Burna Boy, who is one of the most sought after Afrobeats artist, was featured alongside a host of African stars on the Beyonce-curated album, “The Lion King; The Gift” for the live-action remake of the classic Disney film, The Lion King.
The BET award-winning Burna Boy is one of the Nigerians who made the recently released Forbes Under 30 List. This year’s list boasts 20 Nigerians including Guardian Life Cover Star Alex Iwobi, Adeniyi Omotayo, Jessica Anuna, Richard Akuson, Ijeoma Balogun among others. (Guardian)
