Princess Love has filed for a divorce from Ray J, just four months after the couple announced the birth of their second child together.
After nearly for years of marriage, Princess, 35, filed for divorce from the musician turned reality star, 39, on Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court, TMZ and E! News reported.
The Love & Hip Hop star claimed in November last year that she would be filing for divorce after she said that Ray J left her and their oldest daughter Melody Love “stranded” in Las Vegas. Ray J has repeatedly denied that he did so.
‘It’s a very difficult time for both Princess and Ray J and we are asking that we just let them have their privacy as they work through and deal with this very trying situation,” a representative to the couple told People.
Ray J and Princess Love tied the knot in a spectacular ceremony in 2016. They were joined by around 120 of their closest friends and family at The Vibiana Cathedral downtown.
The Game served as a groomsmen for Ray J and the singer’s sister Brandy was a bridesmaid for Princess Love. Brandy sang for the pair’s first dance.
