The legal team of disgraced actor and comedian Bill Cosby are currently making moves to secure his release from prison due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The 82-year-old Cosby is currently serving a ten-year sentence time at the SCI Phoenix in Montgomery County prison facility in Pennsylvania after being convicted of sexual assault in 2018.

This is coming after President Trump’s administration made plans to release some non-violent criminals, in order to lower the risk of the pandemic’s prison outbreak.

According to Deadline, his legal team are preparing to file a petition at Pennsylvania Exceptional Court docket in the next number of days seeking for him to be moved to household arrest, due to age and underlying medical conditions.
