Andre Young, a US rapper and music producer better known as Dr Dre, has agreed to pay Nicole Young, his estranged wife, $2 million in spousal support as he recovers from a brain aneurysm.
TheCable Lifestyle earlier reported how Dr Dre was hospitalised at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after suffering the condition.
He was admitted to an intensive care unit (ICU), missing a divorce hearing slated for Wednesday as he recovered.
According to The Blast, legal documents show that the duo agreed on $2 million for Nicole’s living expenses. It is understood, as stated in the agreement, that Nicole will be advanced the said sum by the beginning of next week.
The sum is to cover all expenses at her Malibu, California home while she remains responsible for her security fees.
Last June, Nicole had filed a suit requesting the divorce while citing irreconcilable differences as her reason.
The lovebirds had tied the knot in 1996, birthing two children. The estranged couple are to be back in court in April.
