Emmanuel Emenike, a Super Eagles player, has put Mavin singer Reekado Banks on blast, saying he disrespected him and his family.
In May, the striker married Iheoma Nnnadi, winner of the Most Beautiful Girl In Nigeria 2014.
After their wedding, a photo went viral on the internet, claiming that Emenike divorced the 2013 Miss Nigeria to marry the 2014 Miss Nigeria.
Curiously, Nnnadi was the woman in both pictures.
Reekado Banks was one of the instigators of the rumour as he shared the image on his Instagram page with the caption “Update Iyayin”.
The football star didn’t take the ‘Jeje’ singer’s move lightly and has warned him to delete the post.
“Reekado you have disrespected me and my family,” Emenike said.
“At first it was Miss Nigeria 2013 divorced and marry 2014 and this joke is going around the world now,
“It has become 2017 to 2018. Boy I just want to tell you that I don’t bark, I give you today to delete it and mind what you post next time.”
Banks is yet to publicly respond to Emenike’s warning but has deleted the post from his page.
