In an Instagram video posted by Jacobs, candlemaker Charly is then seen nodding “yes” as the dancers cheer. The couple are then seen kissing and hugging.

Marc Jacobs posted the video after the proposal on Wednesday – DeFrancesco’s birthday. Press play to watch below:

Marc Jacob’s caption for his proposal vide read:

“And this happened…’Charly Defrancesco will you marry me?’ #flashmobatchipotle #moves.
“Thank you everyone for making this happen. And to my Ride or Die fiance I love you.”

The proposal also happened to fall on Defrancesco’s birthday. To wish DeFrancesco a happy birthday, Marc had earlier posted a message describing DeFrancesco as the love of his life.

“Get ready for the all time gag,” read Defrancesco’s caption for the same video on his social media feed. “Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen.”

Iconic designer Marc Jacobs and Defrancesco, who makes high-end candles and also models, have been dating for a few years now, since 2015 and live together in the West Village.

No date has been announced for the nuptials, but after that epic proposal, we can’t wait to see what these two have up their (well-attired) sleeves.
