Mikel Obi’s cousin calls him out over Dad’s stroke
A man who claims to be Nigerian footballer and Super Eagles‘ captain, Mikel Obi’s cousin @obuaniskela, has called him out over his dad’s stroke which he said the footballer doesn’t care about.
Writing on the comment section of Mikel Obi’s post, @obuaniskela said the reason he is writing is not for money, but that he should show his relatives that he care, even though his dad has been down with the ailment since November 2017. Here’s what Mikel Obi’s cousin wrote;

I JUST WANT TO LET YOU KNOW THAT YOUR UNCLE, MY DAD HAS BEEN SUFFERING FROM PARTIAL STROKE,UR DAD’S ONLY LIVING BROTHER RIGHT NOW.THE ONE YOU MEET AT CIVIC CENTER 5 YEARS AGO WHEN YOU OPENED YOUR FOUNDATION MR CHRISTOPHER OBIEKEZIE.I DON’T KNOW IF ANY OF THEM I.E YOUR PARENTS TOLD YOU HE HAS BEEN SUFFERING THIS SICKNESS SINCE NOV2,THOUGH MY DAD ASKED HIS BROTHER, YOU R DAD AND HE SAID HE TOLD YOU,EVEN WHEN MY MUM DIED 2 YEARS BACK,HE SAID HE TOLD YOU. Mikel Obi started his official football career at the age of 12 years old, when he was picked as a talented footballer from over 3,000 young talents to play in Pepsi Football Academy, a team that was at that time popularly known for travelling across Nigeria scouting for young footballers with the potential to play professionally.
