My Father Was Murdered, He Deserves GCON, Not CFR Recognition — Muyiwa Ige

Muyiwa Ige, the son of the late Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF), Chief Bola Ige, has said that President Bola Tinubu ought to have conferred the posthumous national honour of the Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger (GCON) on his late father.
According to the young Ige, the honour of Commander of the Federal Republic (CFR) conferred on the late ex-Oyo State governor, popularly known as the Cicero of Esa-Oke, by President Tinubu was lower than the status of the late lawyer.
Muyiwa Ige was a guest on Channels Television’sInside Sources programme on Sunday.
