Veteran music duo, Mad Melon and Mountain Black, of the Danfo Drivers group, popularly have finally issued a warning to popular pop singer Tekno. According to them he owes them money and they won’t hesitate to beat him when they them meet.
Danfo Drivers alleged that Tekno had used their materials without consent and didn’t even bother to acknowledge them or even reach out to them. In his latest song ‘Jogodo‘ he was alleged to have sampled their 2008 song ‘Kpolongo‘.
In an interview with Wazobia TV in Lagos, they said they have come to Lagos to hunt for Tekno and collect the money/royalties he owes them for sampling their song without permission.
Tekno and his management are yet to react to this as at press time.

Tekno who had earlier boasted that he is going to win the Grammys Awards one day. He made the revelation on twitter and this didn’t seem to go well with his fans, who didn’t waste time to roast him.

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, K-Brule, also shares the same aspiration with him as he quoted his tweet and said,
Me and you both my brother
Well, the followers do not really have the belief in him to carry the award and didn’t even bother to offer any word of encouragement. They instead decided to drag him in the mud with some rib cracking savage responses.
Tekno will not be the first Nigerian artiste to brag on winning the Grammys in the future.
