BREAKING: Each Uber driver in Lagos state to pay N110,000 for “operational permit”.
Reacting to the report, other Twitter users lament on the unfavorable governemnt policies which they believe are driving a lot of people out of business.
See some reactions to the report:
*** So the went after the bike-hailing & now they’re after taxi-hailing…interesting. Let’s not forget that Gokada etc did pay some levies & it didn’t stop them from getting banned.
So how sure is this one time payment, because with this govt their word isn’t their bond.
*** Mad policy is closing down some businesses already. As a business man you’ll begin to think, what’s next?
*** Please can this government do more of this? All of you that voted this government should not complain, you must trek and pay whatever permits in Silence. If I hear one complain again!
*** until the citizens decide, in unity, to take back their country, the leadership will continue to mess with them as they so please
