Well, according to reports the former love birds have not disclosed reason for their separation. Though it is reported that they have not been in good terms for some time now.
The pair have offered no details for their split.
‘Adele and her partner have separated. They are committed to raising their son together lovingly. As always they ask for privacy. There will be no further comment,’ reps for the singer shared in a statement.
The pair were last seen together in public in January, arriving backstage at the Elton John concert in Los Angeles.
But who is Simon Konecki?
The 45-year-old was born in New York but moved to London when he was 10 with his family. He was a director of EBS before he managed teams of senior brokers at Lehman Brothers, which famously filed for bankruptcy in 2008.
However he gave up the city lifestyle to become CEO of a charity, co-founding Life Water, an eco-friendly brand of bottled water in the UK and the charity Drop4Drop, which campaigns to provide clean water in poor countries.
He was previously married and rumours began to circulate in 2012 that Adele was the reason for his divorce, forcing the notoriously private Adele was write in a blog post on her website that Simon had been divorced for four years” Metro UK reports.
