Dembele Wins 2025 Ballon D’Or
Ousmane Dembele has won the men’s Ballon d’Or for the first time.
The 28-year-old Paris Saint-Germain forward scored 35 goals and provided 14 assists in 53 appearances last season as PSG secured a historic treble, including their maiden Champions League title.
The French international also finished joint top scorer in Ligue 1 with 21 goals and was named both Ligue 1 and Champions League Player of the Year.
Dembele edged out Barcelona’s 18-year-old Lamine Yamal, who placed second and received the Kopa Trophy for best young player.
PSG’s Vitinha came third, while Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah finished fourth. Chelsea’s Cole Palmer was eighth.
Last year’s winner, Manchester City’s Rodri, missed out on the shortlist after an injury-hit season.
Dembele, sidelined by injury, attended the Paris ceremony in tears as he lifted the award.
