United States President Joe Biden has arrived in Israel on a diplomatic mission amidst violence between Israel and Hamas.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the president’s arrival in Tel Aviv on Wednesday demonstrated the US’s unwavering support for Israel.
This show of solidarity comes after the shocking October 7th attacks by Hamas, which claimed the lives of 1,400 Israelis, including dozens of American citizens.
Additionally, several Americans and numerous Israelis remain in the custody of Hamas.
Also, Gaza Strip has witnessed the loss of over 3,000 lives since the commencement of this conflict, as reported by the Palestinian health ministry in Gaza on Tuesday.
The President’s arrival in Tel Aviv came hours after an explosion rocked Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza City. Palestinian authorities have reported the death of many due to the blast, blaming it on Israel. Conversely, the Israeli side has denied responsibility, blaming the incident on a botched rocket launch by Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
