An eyewitness has recounted how the security detail of Grammy award winning singer, Burna Boy shot indiscriminately in popular Lagos club, injuring two people.

Recall that MDB earlier reported that Burna Boyand security detail were accused of instigating fracas at Cubana night club in Lagos state in the early hours of Thursday, June 8.

According to several eyewitnesses who shared their experience on Twitter, the 30-year-old singer’s security personnel fired live bullets inside the popular nightclub after an altercation with some party-goers.

More details about the incident have now been gathered by MDB correspondents who contacted a person who directly witnessed the unfortunate event.

In an exclusive interview with an eyewitness, who chose to speak anonymously, one of the victims recently returned from the United States of America with his wife and were at the club to party with their friends alongside their partners.

However, trouble began around 1am on Thursday morning while gyration was ongoing on the dance floor.

The source expressed that Burna Boy admired one of the ladies in the company of the returnee and asked one of his entourage to speak to her on his behalf, but she declined.

The lady rejecting his advances infuriated the musician, which led to a fracas and his security detail began to shoot indiscriminately at the club goers.

The source said the security detail shot directly at them, seriously injuring two persons: one of the victims was allegedly shot in the thigh while the other person’s head was scrapped by a bullet.

The victims are currently in the hospital receiving treatment while officers of the Nigerian police are reportedly investigating the incident.

Meanwhile, Burna Boy is yet to address the incident that has sparked outrage among many Nigerians on social media.  (Mojidelano.com)
