The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has picked Hon. Dennis Idahosa as running mate to Senator Monday Okpebholo, its governorship candidate for the September 21 governorship election in Edo State.
Recall that Idahosa was one of the aspirants for the party’s ticket in the February primaries of the party.
Idahosa emerged deputy governorship candidate on Sunday night, during a stakeholders’ meeting chaired by the party’s national chairman, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
Daily Trust reports that Ganduje and the APC National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Bashiru, alongside other stakeholders of the party would present Idahosa to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Aso Rock Villa, in Abuja.
