‘La Gazzetta dello Sport’ reports that Paul Pogba’s signing for Juventus is a matter of fine details. Negotiations are very advanced and the French midfielder is going to agree to reduce the salary he gets at Man Utd in order to complete a move to Juventus.
Juventus will not take long in meeting with Rafaela Pimienta, the right hand woman to the late Mino Raiola. She is key to resolving Paul Pogba’s immediate future. ‘La Gazzetta dello Sport’ reports that the two parties will decide on the midfielder’s salary, which will be less than what he currently gets at Man Utd.
There is just this and a few other finishing touches which need to be resolved before the Frenchman’s move to Juventus is made official. It will see him return to a team who has witnessed some of his best moments as a footballer. He left for England in 2016 to make a step forward in his career which never ended up properly happening. That does not mean his performances have been bad though.
Juve will sign him as a free agent as it is now officially confirmed that his Man Utd contract will not be renewed. Therefore, the Italians have managed the situation with calm. They were aware that the Frenchman wanted to return and his wish will be granted.
