The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has avoided addressing Bobrisky as a “he” or “she” in a recent press release.
The self-proclaimed transgender and crossdresser was arrested on Wednesday night in Lagos for allegedly abusing the naira notes.
The commission said the 31-year-old was invited after a viral video of her allegedly spraying and flaunting wads of new naira notes at the premiere of ‘Ajakaju’, a movie by Eniola Ajao.
The EFCC said an investigation revealed that Bobrisky had also “committed the alleged offence at some other event centres and parties at different times”.
In the press release obtained by TheCable Lifestyle on Thursday, the anti-graft agency failed to categorise Bobrisky as either male or female.
The EFCC only addressed the social media celebrity by her alias during the entirety of the press statement.(The Cable)
