Former Cross River state governor, Donald Duke‘s daughter, Xerona, yesterday wedded her fiance, Derin Caise Phillips aka DJ Caise.
The traditional marriage took place in Calabar, Cross River state. White wedding comes up later this month.

Derin Caise Phillips aka DJ Caise is a disc jockey while his beautiful Efik bride, Xerona Duke is a Lawyer/Singer.
The couple got engaged last year.
Xerona Duke is the ever-smiling eldest daughter of top politician and the former Governor of Cross River State, Donald Duke, while the groom, Derin is the son of Lagos politician and former Commissioner for Special Duties, Chief Teju Philips.
When Xerona Duke shared photos from her introduction ceremony, she talked about one of the things she and her spouse had been looking forward to as regards their wedding.
In a post on Instagram, Xerona wrote;
“One of the aspects of the wedding we’ve looked forward to most is being able to embrace the cultures of our parents (my father is Efik and Quas, my mother is Kalabari and @drcaise is Yoruba), so we made the most of our #Introduction and I felt like a princess in my onyo onyo and double wrapper, while Derin looked rather dashing in his agbada.
It was also wonderful to honor my late grandmother, Henrietta Ajumogobia Bobmanuel, by wearing her white coral necklaces and crown. The day went seamlessly and we give God all the glory because when He’s in charge you know it and He was without a doubt with us.
