Popular media personality, Toke Makinwa is being dragged on twitter for sharing her opinion on chivalry in Nigeria.
A controversy on chilvary has been trending on social media for days now after popular writer and feminist, Chimamanda Adichie spoke against it.
Toke Makinwa who seems to be used to social media criticism got criticised again for insinuating that men paying her bills in public is chilvary.
Toke on Twitter, wrote;
“Chivalry is not dead, at least not in Nigeria, shout out to the real men. I can’t even lie y’all need accolades. I stopped counting, each time I’m out and I ask for my bill, someone has paid it. They don’t even come up to have awkward conversations, cheers”
However her opinion didn’t go down well with majority of her fans as she is getting dragged and some have termed her ‘unintelligent’.
